Booked tickets to see Prometheus when it comes out!

I play bass, and I'm a bit of a bass geek. I've been playing in a band for nearly three years now, we're called The Ends. I’m a little bit mad about The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Deftones, as you’ll probably see from this blog. I love tattoos, I work in Heavily Inked Tattoo shop with my Brother-in-law which probably means I’ll be covered by this time next year. I keep a few reptiles of various kinds, you’ll see a few of them popping up on here from time to time.
Last but not least, I have a beautiful girlfriend. I can’t believe it’s been
three and half years. Ask me anything Submit
I’m considering swapping my IPhone for a Samsung Galaxy Note, don’t know what to do.
Star Trails in Space
These are a series of images photographed from a mounted camera on the Earth-orbiting International Space Station, from approximately 240 miles above Earth. Expedition 31 Flight Engineer Don Pettit relayed some information about photographic techniques used to achieve the images:
“My star trail images are made by taking a time exposure of about 10 to 15 minutes. However, with modern digital cameras, 30 seconds is about the longest exposure possible, due to electronic detector noise effectively snowing out the image. To achieve the longer exposures I do what many amateur astronomers do. I take multiple 30-second exposures, then ‘stack’ them using imaging software, thus producing the longer exposure.”
